Old School Piano

OLD SCHOOL PIANO is the perfect sampled piano for that legit 1960's sound.  

We recorded our favorite Yamaha upright piano with a single ribbon mic straight to tape.

Sure, by now we all have amazing sounding sample libraries of expensive, perfectly-recorded grand pianos...BUT if you need a piano that is just a out of tune, recorded to tape, and recorded in mono - this is IT.

Recorded with AEA R92 -> BAE 1084 -> 1176 -> Mara 1" tape with SM911 tape

Each download comes with files for Logic, Kontakt*, and Ableton.

*Kontakt version comes with custom GUI, as well as custom scripted spring reverb.  Requires full version of Kontakt.
