Redtape Pizz

REDTAPE PIZZ is a sample library of a pizzicato (plucked) strings.

We were in the studio a few weeks ago, all set up to record strings for an upcoming HBO documentary - when the director did some last minute edits to the film, and suddenly we had no music to record for the day.

So we went about spending the day making this sample library, complete with 7 different patches of pizzicato:

- Upright Bass

- Cello - individual and doubled 

- Viola - individual and doubled

- Violin - individual and doubled

All instruments were recorded using a Neumann U67 mic and BAE 1084 preamp, and capture a very raw, realistic sound of the individual instruments in our studio. 

This library is a super affordable way to get all the legit pizzicato sounds you'll ever need! 

Available for Logic, Kontakt*, and Ableton.
